World Kosher, a Costa Rican kosher food certification agency and new member of the Chamber

World Kosher, a kosher food certification agency based in Costa Rica, confirmed in December 2019 its membership in the Multilateral Chamber of Commerce and Cooperation Israel Ibero-America (now the Israel Ibero-America Chamber of Commerce). With this addition, the Chamber’s network of members gains a company specializing in kosher certification for the food industry.

World Kosher: kosher food certification and consulting in Costa Rica

World Kosher is a certification agency and consultancy on procedures for the manufacture of kosher food, located in Costa Rica.

The term kosher refers to foods that comply with the dietary laws of Judaism (kashrut). To obtain certification, the products, their ingredients and their production processes are supervised by a certification agency, whose seal allows manufacturers to reach the consumers and markets that require it.

Operations in Latin America and Israel

In addition to Costa Rica, the certifier operates in other Latin American countries. These notably include:

  • the Central American region;
  • Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Brazil, among others;
  • and, above all, Israel.

Welcoming a new member

The Chamber extends a warm welcome to the certifier World Kosher, and we are proud that it has decided to become part of this great Israeli–Ibero-American business family.
