The Chamber

Our history

A private, international, non-profit organization founded in the State of Israel on November 27, 2019, to bring Israel and the Ibero-American countries closer together through business, technological and multisector cooperation.

Origins

An initiative of Israeli and Ibero-American institutions

The Multilateral Chamber of Commerce and Cooperation Israel-Ibero-America (now the Israel Ibero-America Chamber of Commerce) was founded by a group of Israeli and Ibero-American cultural and commercial institutions seeking to promote relations between Israel and Ibero-America.

The Spanish association ADHIE (Association for Humanitarian, Intercultural and Economic Development), the Jewish Community CASEI (the Chamber's legal representative in Israel) and OSPCR (Costa Rica Support and Promotion Office) are the main founders of this Chamber.

Together, they have decided to join forces within the same working framework to make their activities larger and more efficient, with a greater impact on their objectives.

Our mission

  • To develop low-cost, easily accessible technical and sales tools and infrastructure that help our members reach new markets or gain access to new verified suppliers, thereby improving their competitiveness, efficiency and profitability.
  • To provide services that help business owners and entrepreneurs manage their companies and projects more efficiently and economically.
  • To foster multilateral cooperation projects and programs focused on achieving a positive impact on society under the principles of “corporate responsibility,” thereby supporting the progress of Israeli – Ibero-American society in various areas.
  • To develop multicultural projects that promote and celebrate good values and Israeli – Ibero-American culture.

Our vision

  • To play an important role in promoting multilateral relations at all levels in Israel and among the Ibero-American countries.
  • To become a high-quality channel and database that gives our members access to new business opportunities with Israel and the Ibero-American countries where we have offices.
  • To promote intercultural relations between Israel and the Ibero-American countries.
