The Multilateral Alliance of Therapeutic Interest (AMIT) is a committee that promotes the integration of Venezuelan health sciences professionals, with the support of the Multilateral Chamber of Commerce and Cooperation Israel Ibero-America (now the Israel Ibero-America Chamber of Commerce). The Chamber announced it in March 2021 with the aim of strengthening relations between the countries of Ibero-America and Israel and providing information, assistance and knowledge services to the global society.

AMIT’s objectives

AMIT is an initiative open to Venezuelan human talent, whether in Venezuela or beyond its borders, willing to lend a hand in caring for the most disadvantaged populations. Its objectives are:

  • To promote the exchange of knowledge, technology and human capital in order to achieve, through synergy and teamwork, the growth of a leading professional network in the participating countries.
  • To provide Venezuelan professionals in the health fields with a useful resource to project their work internationally, with the support of the Chamber.

Mission: outreach and exchange for health professionals

AMIT offers the professionals who are part of the Alliance support in disseminating, in the Ibero-American countries and Israel, content such as:

  • information about their professional profile;
  • videoconferences on research carried out;
  • expansion projects;
  • information on the development of new technologies, among others.

Vision: a global network of Venezuelan health sciences specialists

AMIT aims to build a professional network for Venezuelan health sciences specialists that enjoys global recognition and makes it possible to advance in:

  • the exchange and promotion of activities, human resources and academic programs;
  • reaching consensus on the study, diagnosis and treatment of pathologies;
  • the discussion of clinical cases;
  • the promotion of health topics of interest to the general population;
  • the promotion of the development and applications of new technologies, among others.
