What Let’s Do Business is

The “Let’s Do Business” program, developed by the Business School of the Israel Ibero-America Chamber of Commerce (CILIB), is an educational program designed to introduce children and young people to business management, economics and finance.

Structured in five developmental levels, the course not only teaches fundamental concepts but also fosters key skills from an early age, preparing students to become responsible, creative leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Who it is for: schools, preschools and families

The program is designed for students aged 3 to 18 and requires no prior knowledge of finance or business. Business and financial concepts are introduced gradually and accessibly, so that even the youngest children can start becoming familiar with basic ideas about economics and management through playful, dynamic activities.

  • Schools and preschools: by adopting the program, they position themselves as pioneers in the well-rounded education of their students, offering a distinctive education that goes beyond the traditional curriculum. CILIB recognizes the institutions that implement it as authorized schools, which enhances their prestige and educational quality locally and beyond, and opens opportunities for strategic partnerships in the business and academic spheres.
  • Families: parents or legal guardians whose schools do not yet offer the program can enroll their children individually.

Implementing “Let’s Do Business” enriches the institution’s educational offering and attracts students and families interested in an education that prepares new generations for an ever-changing world.

The five levels of the “Let’s Do Business” program

The program is divided into five levels, each tailored to a specific age range and with a name that reflects its main focus:

Level 1: Business Explorers (ages 3–5)

This introductory level introduces the youngest children to basic concepts of economics, finance and personal management through games, stories and visual activities. Topics include money, bartering, the value of things, saving, business, customer service and organization.

Level 2: Entrepreneurs in Action (ages 5–8)

This level builds on Level 1, bringing the value of effort and planning into everyday activities. It introduces the concept of entrepreneurship and the importance of teamwork and creativity in solving problems. Topics include planning, organizing resources, money, saving, earnings and expenses, communication, customer service and basic marketing.

Level 3: Creating Business Solutions (ages 9–11)

This level fosters analytical skills and creativity to solve business problems. Students learn to identify business opportunities, develop a basic business plan and apply marketing and finance concepts in greater depth. It covers sustainability in business, problem solving, ethical decision-making, leadership and teamwork.

Level 4: Business Innovators and Leaders (ages 12–15)

This level focuses on developing advanced skills in business management, leadership and strategic decision-making. Students learn to identify market trends, apply innovative strategies and develop negotiation and effective communication skills. It goes deeper into strategic planning, digital marketing, leadership, finance, innovation, social entrepreneurship, ethics and corporate responsibility.

Level 5: Business Leaders of the Future (ages 16–18)

The most advanced level focuses on developing leadership skills, advanced management and critical thinking in business. Students learn to prepare complete business plans, apply economic concepts to real situations and adopt an innovative mindset to solve problems. Topics include innovation, market research, marketing, financial analysis, risk management, transformational leadership, negotiation, social responsibility and business ethics.

How it works: duration, activities and assessment

  • Duration: each level lasts 32 weeks, with topics divided into thematic weeks.
  • Frequency: one session is held per week, which helps students absorb the concepts gradually.
  • Length of each session: 1 hour, balancing theoretical teaching and practical activities.

Activities include role-playing, business simulations, group projects, presentations and debates, as well as board games and crafts. Each activity is designed to teach business and financial skills in a practical way, in simulated situations that replicate real-life experiences.

Assessment is continuous throughout the course, through projects, presentations and activities, and is completed with exams at the end of each level. These assessments measure theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills, the ability to work in a team and the application of the concepts learned.

At the end of each level, students receive a certificate issued by the CILIB Business School attesting to their knowledge and skills in finance and business. This certificate recognizes their effort, adds value to their academic profile and can support their application in future university admissions or career opportunities.
