In November 2019, the Ibero-American delegation invited to the State of Israel by the Multilateral Chamber of Commerce and Cooperation Israel Ibero-America (now the Israel Ibero-America Chamber of Commerce) visited Gordon Academic College in Haifa. The purpose of the visit was to learn about the latest developments in educational technology created by this Israeli academic institution.

Gordon Academic College, a benchmark in educational technology in Israel
Gordon Academic College is one of Israel’s most recognized academic institutions in the field of educational technology. Among the solutions it offers, its contributions stand out in technologies that help teachers and schools implement the tools of the STEAM educational model (Steam – Stam).
The STEAM approach, an English acronym, integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics into learning. Haifa, a port city in northern Israel, is also home to major academic and technological centers such as the Technion.
Educational cooperation agreement for Costa Rica and Andorra
In light of these advances, the Costa Rica Support and Promotion Office (OSPCR) and the ADHIE Development Association signed a cooperation agreement with Gordon Academic College. The agreement seeks to promote the transfer of technology of the tools offered by the college in both the Republic of Costa Rica and the Principality of Andorra.
At the time this news item was published, the Chamber was taking the first steps to put these agreements into effect in the respective countries.
The Chamber and educational cooperation between Israel and Ibero-America
The Chamber promotes cooperation between Israel and the Ibero-American countries in foreign trade, training and innovation. See the Costa Rica country profile, the Andorra country profile and the training programs of the Chamber’s Academy.
