The Concert for Peace, the origin of Andorra’s visit
The Andorran Minister’s visit to Costa Rica took place thanks to the third edition of the Concert for Peace, an event that the OSPCR organizes year after year in Jerusalem to commemorate the abolition of the Costa Rican army and, at the same time, to showcase Costa Rica through its culture.
Article 12 of the Political Constitution of Costa Rica proscribes the army as a permanent institution.
